Where PHPSW meets

Temple Studios

Look for these bright green stairs on the outside of Temple Studios and go up one flight to the first floor

Finding us

Temple Studios is right next to Bristol Temple Meads station, at the end of Lower Approach Road.

Look for the bright green stairs on the outside of the building, next to the orange Temple Studios sign. Go up one flight: we're on the first floor.

There's also a lift, for anyone with mobility needs or who'd rather not take the stairs.

Access

Temple Studios is wheelchair accessible, with a lift up to the first floor. Bristol Temple Meads station is step-free, with lifts to every platform.

If there's anything we can do to make your visit easier, email [email protected] before the night.

Bikes

There's somewhere to store your bike at Temple Studios. There are also hundreds of cycle stands at Temple Meads station, at the front and by the long-stay car park.

By train

Bristol Temple Meads is the nearest station, about 5 minutes' walk away.

Leave by the main entrance, not the new University entrance on the far side. Walk down Station Approach towards Temple Gate, then turn left near the bottom along Lower Approach Road, past Hart's Bakery and The Tunnels. Temple Studios is the brick building at the end.

By bus

Lots of buses stop at Temple Meads, a few minutes' walk away:
Temple Meads Stn (T1), the nearest, on Temple Gate: 1, 2, 8, 9, 16 and 43 to 45 around Bristol, 39, X39 and 522 to Keynsham and Bath, 172 to Bath and 376 to Wells.
Temple Meads Stn (T2 and T4): buses back into the city centre.
Temple Meads Stn (T6), on Station Approach: the A1 Airport Flyer, which runs 24 hours, and the 70, 71 and 72 to UWE and Southmead.

Plan your journey with Travelwest or bustimes.org.

Park and ride

Parking at Bristol's park and ride sites is free if you take the bus, and on weekdays the buses back run well after we finish:
Long Ashton (A370, BS3 2HB): the m2 metrobus from Temple Meads (T2), at 9.13pm, 10.03pm and 10.53pm.
Portway, Shirehampton (A4, BS11 9QE): the 9 from Temple Meads (T2), at 8.52pm, 9.52pm and 10.52pm.
Brislington, for Bath (A4 Bath Road, BS4 5LR): the 9 from Temple Meads (T1), every 20 to 60 minutes until 11.48pm.

The car parks close at midnight (Brislington at 12.30am). These are the autumn 2026 times; check Travelwest before you travel.

Parking

Bristol's traffic is bad at rush hour, so leave plenty of time. The nearest car parks are both about 5 minutes' walk away:
Temple Gate multi-storey (BS1 6PL), run by the council: £4.50 for the evening, 6pm to midnight. Height limit 1.88m. Details
Temple Meads station car park (BS1 6QF): £7.50 overnight, 6pm to 6am, in the outside car park. Details

Blue Badge holders can park free in on-street pay and display bays in Bristol, and the station has accessible spaces.
